The Pettee House is a Level IV Rest Home, licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and regulated by the Department of Public Health to offer a wide range of nursing and medical care in a residential, assisted living-like environment. So, unlike providers limited to offering only assisted living, we are held to higher standards in accordance with the medical care provided. We have physicians and nurse practitioners available to visit the community to provide the highest level of care possible.
The reassurance, convenience and comfort for spouses, family members and friends living at Pettee House is that you will be automatically accepted to our 5 star skilled nursing facility located on campus if you require more care.
Pettee House’s inclusive rate provides for a private room, all meals, 24/7 assistance from our personal care assistants, and medication management. The only additional expenses are co-payments for medications, personal supplies and physician visits. Residents pay privately, or may be eligible for EAEDC (Emergency Aid for Elders, Disabled and Children).
After submitting an application to the Director of Admissions, a request for information will be sent to your personal physician. A complete physical examination within 30 days prior to application is necessary. The Admissions Committee will review all applications and confirm admission status.
